Secondary ELL Lead Teacher

My name is Dianne Bennett, and I am the English Language Development teacher for 6-12 grade York students. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley with my BA in Elementary Education. I have always worked with students who speak two languages, so it made sense to go back to get my MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I love working with students learning to speak English. When I am not at school I spend my time with my husband, three children, and granddaughter.

K-12 Speech Language Pathologist

Hi! My name is Ms. Buteyn, and I'm the speech language pathologist for K-12 at York. I'm a Denver native, but I spent several years away from Colorado going to college in Michigan and teaching English in Prague before returning for graduate school at CU Boulder. I've been at York for over 12 years, so I've had the privilege to see and celebrate the incredible growth that students make over the course of their time here!

Hi I’m Molly Bartels. I work in high school ILC with my awesome co-partners in crime! This will be my 3rd year working here and I love the school and the kids. I’m a mom of 3 kids and Gigi of 2 grand babies. I look forward to a fun, hardworking, and new school year!

Hi, I'm Evie McManus and I am the K-8 school social worker and IEP case manager at York! This will be my second year at York and my fourth year in Mapleton. I love supporting students and families and feel lucky to call York my "school home." I went to college at Notre Dame and did my master's at the University of Denver. In my free time I like to spend time with friends and family and enjoy the mountains.
